Tongue Tided

When Nash was born we noticed the skin under his tongue came all the way to the end and had trouble sucking his pacifier and bottle. This is called tongue tided. The Dr told us the skin could stretch out that we would watch it and possibly get it clipped. Today was that day the skin was still very tight and the Dr was concerned if we didn't get it clipped it could effective his speech and eating as he got older. The procedure was an in office procedure. The applied some novacain to numb the area and 2 nurses held him down one had his head the other his body. He screamed and cried SO loud and hard,it broke my heart.a quick snip and it was over,it bled for about 10 mins.He has been in some pain and had cried on and off all afternoon. We are giving him tylenol to help the pain. Pray with us it heals quickly and the pain goes away.It could hurt him for a few days.It was funny one point today he was moving his tongue around like what is this in my mouth. It may take some getting use to : )

Nash's signature face

Nash is always making this face. Not sure what he is thinking about or wanting to say but it is very funny. When I was younger I always got in trouble for making faces and cutting my eyes at people. I have a feeling Nash is going to be the same way. He makes alot of facial expressions already, should be interesting.

2 Months

Nash is 2 months, He weights in at 14 pounds 7oz, 25 inches long. He is in the 90th % for his weight and 95th % for his height. We have a healthy boy! He now can see his hands and feet and plays with them all the time.He grabs onto things as well. When he is covered up with a blanket he is constantly squeezing it. He also can see the and play with the toys hanging for his car seat. He also loves to watch himself in the mirrow. He has been a lot of fun the past few weeks as he grows and does new things!

Bumbo seat

Nash enjoys swinging in his swing, and sitting in his bouncy seat,he new favorite seat is the bumbo.he loves to look around. He seems farther now and turns and watches us as we walk around the room. He also loves to watch the ceiling fan and tv!

Nash 9 weeks old.

This chair belonged to my Granny. Love that we have it and are making memories with it.
First time to the park, we enjoyed the afternoon walking around and taking pictures of our sweet baby Nash!

Love at first sight

This was my first time to really see Nash and hold him,it was love at first sight. It was crazy and amazing at the same time to think he was just in my belly now I am looking at him and holding him.

Nash is here

Of course you always want to try and look your best through delivery so I fixed my hair late Thursday night. When Dad,Mom,Jamie,Jeanine and Leilynn got to town on Thursday, they came to see us at the hospital.

Nash was born July 2 at 7:22 he weighed 8lbs 2oz and 22 inches long. My delivery started on Thursday July 1st. My cervix was not soft and so I was started on meds to get it soft for being induced on friday. started the induction at 6am I progressed throughout the day and my water broke at 10am and I was about 4cm but he was still really high so they had me turn and laying all different ways to get him to come down.I got my epidural around 11 it didn't hurt all. I was checked at 4pm and I was 8cm and checked again at 5:30 and was almost to 9cm. My doctor came around 6pm and checked me and I was still 8-9cm she said my cervix was starting to swell and he still wasn't coming down.at this point she didnt give much of a chance of him coming down and me pushing him out. she would give me 2 more hours to see if he would but at 8 we would have to do a C-Section. She gave us time to talk it over. I was upset bc I didn't want a c-section.She came back at 7 and checked me and I had gone back to 8cm so we decided to go with the c-section. God Is always in control,The umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck twice. We are so thankful and blessed God spared him from the trama that could of happened trying to push him out.We are in amazement. He is perfect and we love him so much!
